Recently, Global announced its premiere dates for its fall primetime season. 2022-2023 builds on last year’s television shows while adding some new ones. Returning Shows
Will your favorite shows be returning this season? Canadian Country Music Awards commences Global’s fall season on Sunday, September 11. Other returning best tv shows include:
- ET Canada will begin Season 18 on Monday, September 12
- Top rated shows, NCIS along with NCIS: Hawai’i are coming back in a crossover event on Monday, September 19
- 9-1-1 appears on Monday, September 19 along with FBI Night (FBI and FBI International) on Tuesday, September 20
- CSI: Vegas premiers on Thursday, September 20
- The reality show, Survivor, returns for Season 43 on Wednesday, September 21
- Emmy-nominated Abbott Elementary moves to Global on Wednesday, September 21

Premiers
While there are numerous returning shows appearing primetime, this fall, Global has launched several new tv shows that will captivate their audience’s interest:
Monarch (New Music Drama)
Premiers: Wednesday, September 14 and later moving to Sundays
Susan Sarandon, Anna Friel, and Trace Adkins star in this new musical drama. Monarch is a multi-generational drama that centers around the ambitious Roman family who is known for building a country music empire. While their name is associated with honesty, the foundation of the family’s overall success is not true. When the lies begin to become exposed, their status as “country royalty” is challenged.
Heir to the crown, Nicky Roman, finds herself battling a world and industry with the odds stacked against her. Yet, she is determined to protect the family legacy.
So Help Me, Todd (Legal Dramedy)
Premiers: Thursday, September 29
Skylar Astin and OSCAR winner, Marcia Gay Harden premiers in this anticipated new drama. Margaret Wright (Marcia Gay Harden) is a meticulous, sharp lawyer who employs her aimless, scruffy, yet talented son, Todd (Sylar Astin) as the firm’s investigator.
Todd, while extremely easygoing- is a quick thinker. He excelled as a private detective when he suffered financially due to his flexible interpretations of existing law resulted in him losing his license.
Intrigue and humor come into play when Todd and his mother, Margaret, clash with each other. Margaret is the complete opposite of her son. She strictly adheres to the law and strives for excellence. This competes with her son’s scrappy sleuthing abilities which enable him to work his way through the stickiest of situations… just barely.
When Todd and Margaret are inadvertently teamed while on a case, she begins to become impressed and proud of her son’s true talents.
Fire Country (Action Emotional Drama)
Premiers: Friday, October 7
Starring former SEAL star, Max Thiertot playing Bode Donovan. Bode is a young convict seeking a shortened prison sentence and his redemption by participating in an unconventional prison firefighting program located in Northern California.
Bode finds himself battling his past when he is returned to his hometown where he was once the golden child until he began getting into trouble. He has burned every part of his life five years ago and exited the town with a large secret. Now, with his return, he comes with a criminal past and a hope of redemption.
The Real Love Boat (Romance)
Premiers: Wednesday, October 5
This series was inspired by the 1970s/80s series by a similar name. The Real Love Boat sails on Princess Cruises this year and brings single people together on a luxury cruise. Challenges, destination dates, and unexpected singles are here to test the couple’s chemistry along with compatibility. After traveling the seas for a month, only a single couple will reach the final port. The winning couple receives a cash prize and a trip from Princess Cruises.
