The Position
This is a local position wherein our successful candidate will be required to attend events and either report on them, or conduct an interview. Interviews are to be 2,000-3,000 words in length and in APA style. Interview writers can select when they work as email blasts will be delivered to your inbox.
Responsibilities
Duties include reporting to Interview Editor and confirming the project. You will be provided a timeline of when the project will be due and are expected to meet the deadline in a timely manner. Extensions will be provided only in emergency circumstances. Interview writers are expected to set up their meeting time with the contact, conduct the appropriate background research, and ask relevant questions. Questions should be open-ended providing for a natural flow and dialogue.
Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is someone who meets deadlines, communicates well, has a pleasant professional personality, is well-written, and is inquisitive. The ability to speak French isn’t a must but will be considered an asset.
